'\ <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section I. Seqtion 12-42, sub-paragraph ~),of the Code <br /> <br />of Ordinances of the City of La Porte is hereby amended, to <br /> <br />hereafter read as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />11 (b) Subject to the foregoing m~nl.murn charges for <br />business and commercial establishments, the following <br />formula shall be used to determine the monthly charge <br />for each user of a sanitation container furnished by <br />the city at a business or commercial establishment: <br /> <br />IINurnber of cubic yards furnished <br />x $0.75 per cubic yard <br />x number of pickups per week <br />x 52 weeks <br /> <br />- '= Monthly charge" <br /> <br />12 months <br /> <br />Section 2. The invalidity of any section or provision <br /> <br />of this ordinance or of the changes hereby adopted shall not <br /> <br />invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. <br /> <br />Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 4. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately <br /> <br />upon its passage~ and approval.
