<br />, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />890 <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUPPORT OF THE <br />GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1971 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, <br />1972, AND LEVYING A TAX OF $.92 ON EACH $100.00 of <br />ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY LOCATED <br />WITHIN SAID CITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />LA PORTE, TEXAS: <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Section 1. For the purpose of providi~g a bu~get <br />for the fiscal year b~ginni~g October 1, 1971 and endi~g <br />September 30, 1972, an Ad Valorem Tax of $.92 on each <br />$100.00 of assessed value of all real and personal <br />property located within the City of La Porte is hereby <br />levied and such tax shall be collected under and by the <br />authority of this City and of the State of Texas, and the <br />sums set forth below be and the same are hereby appropri- <br /> <br />ated for the maintenance, operation and improvement of <br /> <br />the Government of the City of La Porte, and the same shall <br />be strictly applied for the several purposes and in the <br /> <br />respective amounts hereinafter specified. <br /> <br />Section 2.
