<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1108 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING A PORTION <br />OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK TWENTY-SIX (26), IN THE TOWN OF <br />LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS. <br /> <br />'e <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the North 100 feet of the alley in Block <br />Twenty-six (26), Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, <br /> <br />has never been opened or used as a public thoroughfare, <br /> <br />and the public utilities now making use of such alley <br /> <br />have all given their written consent for its closing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />has determined and does hereby find, determine and declare <br /> <br />that the hereinafter described portion of the said alley <br /> <br />is not suitable, needed, or beneficial to the public as <br /> <br />a public alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and perma- <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />mently closed; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the North 100 feet of the alley in <br /> <br />Block Twenty-six (26), Town of La Porte, Harris County, <br /> <br />Texas, is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned and closed <br /> <br />by the City of La Porte. <br /> <br />Section 2.
