The tail block in the LGS rate was lowered to SO.OO5/kwh with <br /> <br /> <br />corresponding increases to the demand charge and first block energy <br /> <br /> <br />charge. <br /> <br />7. The Tariff for Electric Service was modified to state that HL&P will <br /> <br />provide annually, in areas served by underground conductors, installation <br />of a certain number of HL&P' s High Pressure Sodium street lights mounted <br />on ornamental standards at no installation cost. The number will. be <br />determined by the municipality but, the annual number will not exceed the <br />greater of 50 or 6% of the previous year's street light count served by <br />underground conductors for the municipality. A municipality may request <br />that a ponion of the residential street lights to be provided under this <br />paragraph be installed instead in commercial areas; provided, however, that <br />the municipality shall pay any additional costs. <br />8. The Tariff for Electric Service was revised to provide that HL&P will <br />replace existing 3,300, 7,500 and 20,000 lumen Mercury Vapor street <br />lights with 9,500, 16,000 and 25,500 lumen High Pressure Sodium street <br />lights, respectively, in the municipalities it serves at no up front cost to <br />those cities, as individual lamps bum out. <br />The Tariff for Electric Service was revised to provide that the time of <br />operation of lights under Rate Schedule SPL will be 4000 hours. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />-8- <br />
