KELLY <br /> <br />Mr. Kelly has experience and knowledge in the following areas <br />which make him particularly well qualified to be a member of the <br />Port of Houston Authority Board: . <br /> <br />Marketinq and Strategy - Mr. Kelly is currently Marketing' <br />Manager for the M. W. Kellogg Company, one of the largest <br />international engineering contractors. In this position <br />he is responsible for Kellogg's strategic planning and for <br />projection of the world markets for petroleum and <br />petrochemicals, agricultural products and capital goods. <br /> <br />As as member of the Authority Board Mr. Kelly would be <br />able to make significant contributions to policy <br />preparation and planning in support of current and new <br />markets. His selling experience will also enable him to <br />assist the board in evaluating the effectiveness of the <br />Port Authority's sales program. <br /> <br />Finance/Business Venture - Mr. Kelly's experience in <br />strategic planning and acquisitions have given him a, <br />thorough understanding of performance measurements and of <br />financial and operational issues of major expansion <br />projects. <br /> <br />Enqineerinq - Mr. Kelly's engineering experience and <br />training qualify him to evaluate the technical issues <br />connected with port operations and port expansion <br />projects. <br /> <br />Computer Technoloqy - Mr. Kelly's experience with computer <br />systems will enable him to fully evaluate the Authority's <br />automation/computer system projects. <br /> <br />Upper Galveston Bay - Mr. Kelly's residence and <br />recreational boating activities will help him to be . <br />sensitive to the desire of the Bay Area communities to <br />achieve growth and still maintain these communities as <br />attractive places to .live. <br />
