e e SECTION 3 - OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES OWNER shall do the following in a timely a manner so as not to delay the services of ARCHITECT: 3.1 Designate in writing a person to act as OWNER's representative with respect to the services to be rendered under this Agreement. Such person shall have complete authority to transmit instructions, receive information, interpret and define OWNER's policies,and decisions with respect of ARCHITECT's services for the Project 3.2 Provide all aiteria and full information as to OWNER's requirements for the Project, including design objectives and constraints, space, capacity and performance requirements, flexibility and expandability, and any budgetary limitations; and furnish copies of all design and construction standards which OWNER will require to be included in the Drawings and Specifications. 3.3 Assist ARCHITECT by placing at ARCHITECT's disposal all available information pertinent to the Project including previous reports and any other data relative to design or construction of the Project. 3.4 Furnish to ARCHITECT, as required for performance of ARCHITECT's Basic Services (except to the extent provided otherwise in Exhibit A "Further Desaiption of Basic Services and Related Matters"), the following: 3.4.1 Data prepared by or services of others, including without limitation borings, probings and subsurface explorations, hydrographic surveys, laboratory tests and inspections of samples, materials and equipment; 3.4.2 appropriate professional interpretations of all of the foregoing; 3.4.3 environmental assessment and impact statements; 3.4.4 property, boundary, easement, and right-of-way, topographic, and utility surveys and related office computations and drafting; 3.4.5 property descriptions; 3.4.6 zoning, deed and other land use restriction; and 3.4.7 other special data or consultation not covered in Section 2; all of which ARCHITECT may use and rely upon in performing services under this Agreement. 3.5 Provide engineering surveys to establish reference points for construction (except to the extent provided otherwise in Exhibit A "Further Desaiption of Basic Services and Related Matters") to enable Contractor(s) to proceed with the layout of the work. 3-1
