(Optional) <br /> <br />5. A check payable to the City in the amount specified as follows: <br />A base fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00), plus seventy (70~) cents per <br />lot. plus ~vo Dollars ($2.00) per acre for any land within the bound- <br />aries of the plat not divided into normal single~family residential <br />lots but intended for apartments, commercial, industrial, etc. <br /> <br />6. In cases where public streets, alleys, or easements are proposed <br />to be platted across private easements or f~e strips, a copy of the <br />instrument establishing such private easement or fee strip shall be <br />submitted. l~ere a private easement has no defined location, an <br />effort shall be made to reach agreement on a defined easement. (Agree- <br />ment must be reached before submission of final plat.) <br /> <br />7. A preliminary submittal shall be required for all replats of exist- <br />ing subdivisions containing major changes in the physical layout, <br />as determined by the City Council. However, the City Council may, <br />at its discretion, waive the various requirements of accompanying <br />submittal information where the facts warrant. <br /> <br />B. PRELUlINARY PLAT SPECIFICATIONS: The scale of the preliminary plats shall <br />be 1" = 100'. However, on a plat of more than 10 acres, the scale may be <br />1" = 200'. The following shall be shown on the preliminary plat. <br /> <br />1. Name of subdivision. (Check for duplication.) <br /> <br />2. Legal description of location of subdivision. <br /> <br />3. Total acreage and total number of lots and blocks. <br /> <br />4. Name of ~mer (and address unless given in letter of trans- <br />mittal). If owner is a company or corporation, name of re- <br />sponsible individual such as president or vice-president must <br />be given. <br /> <br />5. Name of registered engineer or registered public surveyor. <br /> <br />6. Scale: 1" 'o;i 100' (Consent of City Council needed for <br />smaller scale and then only if lots are more than 1/2 <br />acre in area.) <br /> <br />7. North point, north to be at top of sheet if possible. <br /> <br />8. Date. each revision to bear new date. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />C. KEY :HAP <br /> <br />Key map to show relation of subdivision to well-known streets, railroads, <br />and water courses in all directions to a distance of at least one mile. <br /> <br />D. BOUNDARIES <br /> <br />1. Ownership drawn in very heavy lines, with over-all dimensions <br />and bearings. <br /> <br />2. Lines outside of boundaries to be dashed. <br /> <br />3. Provide a tie to well established point for plats inside city <br />or to a survey corner if outside the city. <br /> <br />E. ADJACENT PROPERTY <br /> <br />Name and adjacent boundary location of subdivisions, streets, easements, <br />pipelines, water courses, etc., 'if acreage, show as such. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
