<br />II SECTI01! 24 - APPROVED lllA':(ERIALS - 110 electrical materials, apparatus,
<br />!. devices, appliances, fixtures or equipnent shall be sold or installed in the
<br />;1 City of La. Porte herea!'ter unless they are in conformity with the provisions of
<br />ij this Ordinance, the Statutes of the State of Texas.. the rules and regulations
<br />;1 issued by the Industrial Camnission of the state of' Texas under authority of the
<br />!i State Statutes. The :ro.a.ker's name.. trade-mark or other identification symbol
<br />Ii shall be placed on all electrioal materials, apparatus, devices, appliances,
<br />ii fixtures and equiy;rnent used or installed under this Ordinance.

<br />Ii SECTION 25 - The 1940 National Electrical Code, Pamphlet no. 70, of
<br />1'1 the Uational Board of' Fire Underwriters, dated November, 1940, and a~ and all
<br />;, alterations, amendments, additions and ohanges thoreto which are hereaftor :made
<br />II and approved by the l~ational Board of. Fire Underwriters are hereby adop'.;ed as an
<br />! Ordinance of' the City of La Porte, Texas and such rules and regulations shall I
<br />: e:;overn and be observed and followed in all electrical wiring, and construction,
<br />: i.natalla-tion, repair, alteration, operation and maintenance of' electrical vtir-
<br />I': i::J.g, apparatus or fixtures. Suoh rules and regulations shall be known as the
<br />: "Eleotrical Codell. Should there be a conflict between ~ of' tho provisions
<br />, of said electrical oode and t1IlY other provisions of this Ordinanoe.. suoh other

<br />:1 SECTIOl! 26 - If'....ny section, sub-section, sentence, clause or phrase
<br />I of this Ordinance is for any roason held to be unconstitutional, such unoon-
<br />'I stitutio:nality shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
<br />I Ordinance. The City Council of' tho City of La Porte hereby declares that it
<br />i: would have passed this Ordinance and each seotion.. sub-seotion, sentenoe, clause
<br />~ or phrase hereof, irrespective of the faot that anyone or more sections, sub-
<br />~ aoctions.. s~~ences, olauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional.
