(a) The office of building official is hereby created and the executive official in charge shall be mown as the building official. (b) The b'J.i.lding official shall be appointed as required by law. His appointment shall continue during good behavior and satisfactory service. Such rule shall be drawn in its tJ, proposed form and open to public inspection at the time the notice to enforce i,s published.
