WHEREAS, The City of La Porte haa heretofore adopted a Home Rule Charter authorizing it to annex territory en~ to extend the corporate limits of said city by action of the City Commission; and, WHEREAS, the herei~after described land is adjacent to the present city limits of the City of La Porte and the members of the City Commiasion of the City of La Porte have concluded that said area should be annexed and made a part of the City of La Porte, Texa s; NOvi, THEREFORE, 3E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TE~S: SECTIOi~ 1. That the following described territory be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of La Porte, Texas, and the boundary limits of the City of La Porte be, and the Bame are hereby extp.nded to \ include the following described territory within the city limits of the City of La Porte, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of said city, and the inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the :Clty of La Porte, and they shall be bound by the acts, o~dinances, resolutions and regulatiQns of s8id city. fhat the territory to be so annexed Is more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
