WHEREAS, The City of La Porte has heretofore adopted a Homp Rule Charter authorizing it to annex territory an~ to extend the corporate limits of said city by action of the City Cornmisoion; and, ~.HEREin), the hereinafter de scribed land is ad ja cent to th e present city limits of the City of La Porte and the meffibers of the City Commission of the City of La Porte have concluded that said area should be annexed snd made a part of the City of La Porte, Texa s j ~IjO vi, TH:b;REFORE, :-E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COi.1MI::>.:HON OF' THE CITY OF Lh PCRTE, TEXl:S: ~ECIIC~ 1. That tbe following described territory bp an~ the same is hereby annexed to the City of La Porte, Texas, And the bounoary limits of the City of La Porte be, anr. the same are hereby extpnded to include t~e following described territory within thp city limits of the City of La Porte, and the same shall hereafter be lncludeo within the territorial limits of said city, and the inhAbitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all ri~hts and privileges of other citizens of the ~City of La Porte, and they shall be bound by ~he acta, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said city.
