Bay Colony being a subdivision out of the Wm. P. Harris Survey in Harris County, Texas, according to the Map thereof recorded in Volume 81, Page 62 of the Map Records of Harris County, Texas, and Shady Oaks being a subdivision out of the Wm. P. Harris Survey in Harris County, Texas, according to the map thereof recorded in Volume 3.5, Page 31 of the Map Records of Harris County, Texas. , ..... '...... SECTION 2. The City Commission of the City of La Porte reserves and preserves the rights, powers, duties and effect of any and all prior annexation ordinances heretofore passed, and in no way relinquishes nor releases any part or portion of the territory annexed in Ordinances Numbered 493,494, 497, .587, 621, 623,624,625,628,634, 635, 637 and 647. SECTION 3. Should any portion of the territory sought to be annexed herein not be subject to annexation by the eity of La Porte, then it is the intention of the City Commission of the City of La Porte to annex only such ...... portion of said areas as may be legally subject to annexation by the City of ---....- La Porte, and the fact that a portion of said area may not be legally annexed by said City shall not affect the validity of the annexation of the remaining portions of said territory, it being the intention of the City Commission to annex all or such portions of the above described area as it may legally annex. SECTION 4. That this ordinance having previously passed and published as required by The City Charter as Ordinance Number 624, this is a final and last passage ;and the territory hereinabove described shall henceforth be ". a part of the City of La Porte.
