BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. Rates. The following rates shall be charged each month for water and water service furnished by the City of La Porte: Each water service connection within the City of La Porte shall bear a charge of $2.00 for each month or any part thereof. Each water service connection outside the City. of La Porte shall bear a charge of $2.50 for each month or any part thereof. ' No additional charge shall be made for water consumed if not more . than 2, 000 gallons. In addition: A charge at the rate of $0.75 per one thousand gallons for water metered to each water service connection during any month shall be made for 2,000 through 5,000 gallons. , A charge at the rate of $0.50 per one thousand gallons for water metered to each water service connection during any month shall be made for 5, 000 through lO, 000 gallons. A charge at the rate of $0. 40 per one thousand gallons for water metered Ml& ....... to each water service connection during any month shall be made for 10,000 through 50, 000 gallons.
