<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 658, Page 2. <br /> <br />-e, <br /> <br />A charge at the rate of $0.30 per one thousand gallons for water <br />metered to each water service connection during any month shall be made <br />for all over 50, 000 gallons. <br /> <br />Section 2. Water Meter Inoperative. If a water meter fails to <br /> <br />operate properly, the consumer may be charged at the average daily <br /> <br />consumption as shown by the meter when in order. The consumer shall <br /> <br />pay for all water metered, whether used or not. <br /> <br />Section 3. Discount Allowed. A discount of ten per-cent (10%) shall <br />_ be allowed on all monthly water bills paid on or before the 10th day of the <br />month succeeding that for which the bill is rendered. All bills paid after <br />the 10th day of the calendar month succeeding that for which such bill is <br />rendered shall not be subject to such discount. <br /> <br />Section 4. Multiple Units <br /> <br />A. Definition of "Multiple Units." For the purpose of this Ordinance, <br /> <br />"Multiple Units" shall be defined as apartments, apartment projects, trailer <br /> <br />parks, business establishments, and other such installations (as contrasted <br /> <br />to motels, hotels and other such establishments), having three (3) or more <br /> <br />_ units. <br /> <br />B. Single Meter. Owners of multiple units may be permitted a single <br />meter to supply water to all units. In such cases the owner shall be required <br />to pay the additional cost necessary for a larger meter, if one is required. <br />The size of the meter required shall be determined by the City Engineer. <br />C. Rates for Multiple Units. In cases of multiple units on a single <br />meter, the rates shown in Section 1 shall apply. The minimum charge of <br />$2.00 shall be charged to each unit occupied during the preceeding month. <br /> <br />. <br />
