Under and by virtue of the power granted to the City of La Porte under its Home Rule Charter and Chapter 13, Title 28, Article 1175, of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, 1925, that portion of San Jacinto Avenue and Park Avenue shown as the shaded area on the City Engineer's plat attached hereto, incorporated by reference herein, and made a part hereof for all purposes, as 'Exhibit A", which portion of said streets is more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows, to~wit: BEGINNING at the most easterly corner of Lot 16, Block 50,- Sylvan Beach First Subdivision, an addition to the Town of'La Porte, Johnson Hunter Survey, A-35, Harris County"Texas, as recorded in Volume 3, Page 72 of the Map Records of Harris County, Texas; THENCE, North ~60 East, with an easterly projection of the Squth line of Lot 16, Block 50, Sylvan Beach First Subdivision, a distance of 0.21' to a point for corner in the southerly projection of the West line of San Jacinto Avenue; THENCE North 270 15' West along the southerly pro- jection of the West line of San Jacinto Avenue, a distance of 88.62' to a point of curve of a curve having a Radius of 15' and a central angle of 1260 45' ; THENCE in a Northwesterly direction along said curve having a radius of 15' and a central angle of 1260 45' a distance of 33.18' to a point of tangency in an easterly projection of the North line of Lot 16, Block 50, Sylv~n Beach First Subdivision; THENCE South 260 West along the easterly projection of the North line of Lot 16, Block 50, Sylvan Beach First Subdivision, a distance of 0.94' to the most northerly corner of said Lot 16, Block 50, Sylvan Beach First Subdivision; THENCE in a southeasterly direction along the East line of Lot 16, Block 50, being a curve having a radius of 255' and a central angle of a 0 20' 48" for a distance of 103.91' to the point of beginning; is hereby permanently, vacated, abandoned and closed by the City of La Porte. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and approval.
