. . . .' . . , ORDINANeE NO. 780-FF AN ORDINANeE AMENDING ORDINANeE NO. 780, THE eITY OF LA PORTE ZONING ORDINANeE, BY eHANGING THE etASSIFIeATION OF THAT CERTAIN PAReEL OF LAND HEREIN DEseRIBED; AND PROVIDING AN EFFEeTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE eITY eOMMISstoN OF THE eITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. The eity eommission of the eity of La Porte hereby finds, determines and declares that heretofore, to-wit, on the 15th day of March, 1976, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., a joint public hearing was held before the Planning and Zoning eommis- sion, and the eity eommission, of,the eity of La Porte, Texas, pursuant to due notice, to consider the question of the possible re-classification of the zoning classification of the herein- after described parcel of land. There is attached to this Ordinance as "Exhibit A," and incorporated by reference herein and made a part hereof for all purposes, a copy of "Notice of Public Hearing" which the ei ty eO:mn'lission of the ei ty of La Porte hereby finds was properly mailed to 'the owners of all properties lo,cated:within two hundred feet (200') of the properties under consideration. Section 2. The Publisher's Affidavit of publication of notice of said hearing is attached hereto as "Exhibit B," incorporated by reference herein and made a part hereof for all purposes. Section 3. Subsequent to such public hearing, the eity of La Porte Planning and Zoning'eommission met in special session on March 15, 19'76, to consider the changes in classi- fication which were the subject of such joint public hearing. The eity eommission of the eity of La Porte is in receipt of the written recommendations of the eity of La Porte Planning and Zoning eommission, by letter dated March 15, 1976, the original of which letter is attached hereto as "Exhibit e," incorporated by reference herein, and made a part hereof for all purposes.
