<br />C. <br /> <br />constructtlt Phase: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Engineering fee based on per diem rates and man hours <br />expended on the project estimated at $ 2.400.00 . <br /> <br />Total engineering fee based on per diem rates shall not <br />exceed $14,000.00 . <br />Fee includes only those Services named in the scope <br />of services. Copy of per diem rates attached hereto as <br />Exhibit "B". <br /> <br />D. Special Services: <br /> <br />Special Services as outlined in the T.S.P.E. Manual we <br />would perform at our per diem rates. Copy of Per Diem Rates <br />attached hereto as Exhibit B. These special services are limited <br />to the items on the enclosed list of special services from the <br />T.S.P.E. Manual, "General Engineering Services", under Section V <br />Special Services, Exhibit A. <br /> <br />Field surveys to collect information required for both <br />preliminary and design phases shall be performed at our per diem <br />rates. These services are included in the fee under Section IV-A <br />through C above for this project. <br /> <br />Soil and foundation investigations including field and <br />laboratory testing and related engineering analysis and <br />recommendations would be contracted for at our cost plus 10% for <br />handling or may be furnished by the City. <br /> <br />E. Travel: <br /> <br />Travel expenses will not be charged for within the <br />limits of Harris County. Travel outside the County is computed <br />at the rate of 30 cents per mile. <br /> <br />F. Terms: <br /> <br />Invoices will be submitted monthly based on per diem <br />rates with net payment due within 14 days of invoice. Late <br />payments will incur a late charge of one and one-half (1 1/2) <br />percent per month from the original invoice da~e. Invoice to <br />include a summary of man hours expended on the project. <br /> <br />G. Conditions: <br /> <br />If project is significantly changed in scope as <br />outlined, fee will be adjusted by mutual agreement between <br />Engineer and Owner. <br /> <br />Page 6 of 19 <br />
