<br />CONTRACT FOR SERVICES <br /> <br />This CONTRACT for GIS services entered into by and between the City of LA PORTE, <br />TX, hereinafter called LA PORTE, and Claunch & Miller, Inc., hereinafter called CMI; <br /> <br />WITNESSETH THAT: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LA PORTE desires to engage CMI to provide professional services; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, LA PORTE finds that the proposed Scope of Services and terms of this <br />Contract are acceptable; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, CMI desires to provide said services and agrees to do so per terms of <br />compensation and conditions as hereinafter set forth, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Employment of CM!. LA PORTE hereby engages CMI and CMI hereby agrees <br />to perform professional services as hereinafter set forth in Attachment "A" - <br />Scope of Services". <br /> <br />2. Scope of Services. CMI shall perform, in a professional manner, the services set <br />forth in Attachment "A" - Scope of Services which outlines the services and <br />schedules associated with each task order. <br /> <br />3. Extra Services. CMI may provide extra services, not specifically called for in the <br />task order agreements, only upon written authorization of LA PORTE. <br /> <br />4. Time of Performance. CMI will commence work on or as soon as practicable <br />after the date of execution this contract. All work as set forth in the "Scope of <br />Services" shall be completed within the time specified assuming timely <br />submission of all required data by LA PORTE. <br /> <br />If LA PORTE requests modifications to the "Task Order Agreements", the time of <br />performance of CMI shall be adjusted appropriately. <br /> <br />CMI'S services under this Contract, and any Task Orders, shall be considered <br />complete when the deliverables for that phase have been accepted by LA <br />PORTE. <br /> <br />5. MeetinQs. This Contract includes attendance by CMI representatives at <br />meetings, to make presentations, or to otherwise discuss and review the <br />progress of task orders with LA PORTE. <br /> <br />6. Reports. CMI shall prepare and submit progress reports as requested by LA <br />PORTE. <br /> <br />7. Compensation. CMI agrees to perform services required to complete each task <br />as defined in Attachment "A" - Scope of Services. LA PORTE agrees to <br />compensate eMI for such services as set forth in "Attachment "A" - Scope of <br />Services" for an amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000). <br />
