Violation of the City's harassment policy <br /> <br />7. Violation of the City's Drug and Alcohol policy <br /> <br />8. Excessive distribution of non-work related literature during working hours <br />and/or on city property <br /> <br />9. Gambling in any form during working hours and/or on City Property <br /> <br />4. Personal Appearance <br /> <br />All employees, regardless of work location and degree of public contact, shall <br />dress in a manner consistent with their departmental regulations. Department <br />Directors may establish uniform and equitable dress standards for the various <br />divisions within their departments. <br /> <br />5. Employee Financial Obligations <br /> <br />All employees are required to manage their personal financial affairs separately <br />from their careers with the City. If or when personal financial affairs interfere with <br />an employee's ability to perform their job duties, disciplinary action may be taken. <br /> <br />6. Operation of City Owned Vehicles and Equipment <br /> <br />All employees who are required to operate City owned vehicles or equipment <br />shall do so in a safe and prudent manner in compliance with all state, federal, <br />and local laws. Improper and/or unsafe operation of vehicles or equipment is <br />justification for disciplinary action. <br /> <br />All employees who have operating vehicles or equipment as a responsibility of <br />their position classification must have and maintain a proper driver's license and <br />an acceptable driving record. Improper license or unacceptable driving record, or <br />un-insurability or exclusion of an employee by the City's insurance carrier, is <br />justification for transfer, demotion, or termination. <br /> <br />Any employee whose driver's license is suspended for any reason shall notify <br />his/her supervisor and Human Resources immediately. <br /> <br />7. Outside Employment <br /> <br />Regular full-time employees may have other employment if their supervisor <br />determines it does not interfere with the performance of the employee's job <br /> <br />Employee Policies HandbooklPage 32 <br />
