<br />1. CALL TO ORDER
<br />
<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Porter at 6:00 p.m.
<br />
<br />Members of City Council Present: Mayor Porter, Mayor Pro-Tern Rigby, Council members
<br />Tommy Moser, Mike Clausen, Mike Mosteit, Barry Beasley, John Black, Chuck Engelken,
<br />Howard Ebow and Georgia Malone
<br />
<br />Members of Council Absent: None.

<br />Members of City Executive Staff and City Employees Present: Assistant City Attorney
<br />Clark Askins, City Manager Ron Bottoms, Finance Director Michael Dolby, City Secretary

<br />3. Mayor Porter led the Pledge of Allegiance.

<br />4. PRESENT A TIONSI PROCLAMATIONS
<br />
<br />A. Received a presentation from La Porte High School students Jack Swearingen
<br />and Jonathan Mockmell on the recent China Mission trip.
<br />
<br />B. Mayor Pro-Tern Rigby presented a proclamation for "La Porte High School Wind
<br />Ensemble Day".
<br />
<br />5. Council to consider approval or other action regarding an ordinance declaring the results
<br />of the City of La Porte Election held on May 10, 2008.
