10.02 Exit Interview <br />The Human Resources Department will conduct an exit interview for all employees terminating <br />employment with the City. The purpose of the exit interview is to complete the employee's file <br />by listing the reason for separation and ensure that all issued equipment owned by the City is <br />returned. All final paychecks may be picked up at the Human Resources Department. <br />10.03 Separation Pay <br />Employees who terminate employment with the City in addition to receiving pay for hours <br />worked will also receive payment for accrued benefits in accordance with Article 5155 of the <br />Revised Civil Statutes of Texas. The employee will be paid at a rate based upon their final <br />hourly pay rate. <br />Non -Civil Service Employees <br />Vacation <br />Regular full-time employees who have at least one year of service with City are eligible to <br />receive their accumulated vacation leave, not to exceed the maximum accrual of 1.5 times their <br />annual rate. <br />Sick <br />Regular full-time employees hired on or after February 1, 2008 employed at least 10 years with <br />the City will be eligible to receive unused sick leave, not to exceed 480 hours from Sick Bank 1. <br />Employees who were hired prior to February 1, 2008 will receive any accrued sick leave from <br />Sick Bank 2 and/or Sick Bank 3, but must be employed at least 10 years with the City to receive <br />accrued sick leave from Sick Bank 1. <br />Non -Civil Service 24 Hour Employees <br />Vacation <br />Regular full-time employees who have at least one year of service with the City are eligible to <br />receive their accumulated vacation leave, not to exceed the maximum accrual of 1.5 times their <br />annual rate. <br />Sick <br />Regular full-time employees hired on or after February 1, 2008 employed at least 10 years with <br />the City will be eligible to receive unused sick leave, not to exceed 768 hours from Sick Bank 1. <br />Employees who were hired prior to February 1, 2008 will receive any accrued sick leave from <br />Sick Bank 2 and/or Sick Bank 3, but must be employed at least 10 years with the City to receive <br />accrued sick leave from Sick Bank 1. <br />64 <br />
