Fairmont Pkwy. and legally described <br />as 8.4 acres out of Tracts 2A, 3, 4, 4A, & Tract 23D Bayport, Section 1, Abstract 625, R <br />Pearsall Survey, Harris County, Texas in the Business Industrial (BI) zoning district; <br />followed by discussion and possible action to consider adopting Ordinance 2022-3873 <br />amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, Chapter 106 "Zoning" by granting <br />Special Conditional Use Permit #22-91000002 to allow for merchant wholesaler uses on a <br />8.4-acre tract of land located at the 2200 Block of W. Fairmont Parkway and legally described <br />as 8.4 acres out of Tracts 2A, 3, 4, 4A, & Tract 23D Bayport, Section 1, Abstract 626, R. <br />Pearsall Survey, Harris County, Texas in the Business Industrial (BI) zoning district. [Teresa <br />Evans, Planning and Development Director] <br />Mayor Rigby opened the public hearing at 6:29 p.m. Director Evans provided a presentation; there <br />were no public speakers for the hearing, although a representative of the owner was permitted to <br />speak during Council deliberations.
