CITIZEN COMMENT (Generally limited to five minutes per person; in accordance with <br />state law, the time may be reduced if there is a high number of speakers or other <br />considerations.) <br />There were no citizen comments. <br />2. ELECTION MATTERS <br />(a) Presentation, discussion, and possible action to adopt Ordinance 2022-3885, <br />canvassing the returns of the May 7, 2022, General and Special Elections, for <br />the election of a Councilperson At -Large Position A, a Councilperson District <br />4, and a Councilperson District 5, and approving or denying the following <br />proposition: "the reauthorization of the local sales and use tax in the City of <br />La Porte, Texas, at the rate of one-fourth of one percent to continue providing <br />revenue for maintenance and repair of municipal streets. The tax expires on <br />the fourth anniversary of the date of this election unless the imposition of <br />the tax is reauthorized". [Louis R.
