S <br /> THE CITY OF LA PORTE; TEXAS S l33RD JUDICIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />FINAL JUDGMENT <br /> <br />On this ____ day of <br /> <br />, 1989, at a regular term of <br /> <br />the l33rd District Court of Harris County, Texas, came on to be <br /> <br />heard the above styled and nu~bered cause, wherein Robert L. <br /> <br />Browning, Sr., Betty Browning, Robert L. Browning, Jr. and wife, <br /> <br />submitted to the Court, whereupon the pleadings and the evidence <br />adduced by the parties hereto and the argument and statements of <br /> <br />counsel were heard by the Court, and it was thereupon made known to <br />the Court that, subject to the approval of the Court, the Plaintiffs <br /> <br />and Defendant have reached agreement on a settlement and stipulation <br />as to the matters in controversy herein. <br />The .Court having heard the evidence of the parties and the <br />statements of their respective counsel, and having considered that <br /> <br />many contested issues of fact and law are involved in this matter, <br /> <br />and having further considered the time of all parties and their <br /> <br />attorneys in the preparation, trial and possible appeals of complex <br />and lengthy litigation, and the expense of such litigation on the <br />part of all of said parties, is of the opinion and finds that said <br /> <br />settlement agreement is fair and just, and the Court hereby approves <br />
