<br />WHEREAS, by virtue of a certain execution and order at' sale issued

<br />by the 61st District Court of Harris COtUlty, Texas, in Cause No. 104,781, en-
<br />titled the City of' La Porte vs. C.S. Penfield, et al, T. A. Binford, as Sheriff
<br />
<br />at' Harris County, Texas, did execute, ackr?-owled.ge and deliver his Deed, convey-
<br />ing to the City of La Porte all the estate, right, title ani interest vThich C.S.
<br />Peni'ield and C.E. Hunn, and the unknown heirs of C. S. Penfield and C.E. Hunn,
<br />had in ani to the follovdng described property, together with other p' operty as
<br />described in s aid Deed, to-wit:

<br />All of Block 19";1 parts of Lots 16-17 and 18, Block
<br />185 of the Tam of La Porte, in Harris COtUlty, Texas;
<br />
<br />and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, such description as pertains to Block No. Ninetten (19)
<br />of the tom of La Porte, in Harris County, Texas, was in error; the said
<br />tax suit and all proceedings thereunder should have described Slch property
<br />as all of 'Lot 19 and part~__of'__Lo_~,~ 1~l:7 an.d).8 in ?:hock. 1.85 of the Tat,m. of
<br />La Porte, in Harris COtUlty, Texas; Block No. Nineteen (~9) of' the Town of La-
<br />
<br />Porte, in Ha1Tis County, Texas, VfaB not involved in said tax suit and sub-
<br />
<br />sequent proceedings; and
<br />wHERE-As, the City of La Porte does not have or claim any right,
<br />title and in~ere'st in and to Block No. Nineteen (19) of the Town of La Porte,
<br />in HaITis Cotmty, Texas, by V;irtue of the hereinabove mentioned tax suit, the
<br />execution and order of sale issued thE!'eunder, and the hereinabove mentioned
<br />Sheriff's Deed:
