Boyle, Trustee is the record owner of Blocks 454, 456 and 457 of the Town of LaPorte an addition of the city of Morgan's Point, Texa$ which abut the South boundary of a portion of the right-of-way of North "H" Street, which abuts a portion of the right-of-way of 8th Street or the west and east, and abuts a portion. of the right-of-way of North "G" Street or the north and South. WHEREAS after consideration of the use and nonuse of the streets and alleys, ~raffic patterns in the area, proximity of other alleys or streets, and major and minor thoroughfares in the area ,and access by fire and other emergency vehicles, the city council finds that public' convenience and necessity no longer require the use of the hereinafter described streets and alleys and such streets and alleys should be closed; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MORGAN'S POINT, ,TEXAS: section 1: The following described streets and alleys and the rights-of-way on' which the same are located are hereby closed; (1) That portion of the right-of-way of North "H" Street in the City of Morgan's Point, Harris County Texas, lying and being situated between Blocks 474 and 475, Town of .,LaPorte, an addition to the City 'of Morgan's Point Harris County, Texas, on the North; and Blocks 456 and 457, ToWn of LaPorte, an addition to the City of Morgan,' s Point Harris County, Texas, on the South; and extending from the East right-of-way of North Broadway S~reet, to the West right-of-way of 9th Avenue or the railroad tracks. -2- b:\morganspoint\Ord-7-88 .. ~
