This was acquired by the City of La Porte by <br />a sheriff's deed dated December 4, 1923, recorded in Volume 1039, <br />Page 405, of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas. Decker McKim <br />has expressed and interest in the past, in acquiring this particular <br />tract of land from the City of La Porte.
