Box 1115 <br /> U T I L I T Y E A S E MEN T <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS X <br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS X <br /> <br />That I (We) Big Three Industries, Inc., of Houston, Texas, <br />HEREINAFTER called the ~rantor (whether one or more) for and in <br />consideration of the sum of one dollar and other good and valu- <br />able consideration, cash to Us in hand paid by the City of La <br />Porte, Texas; a municipality, the receipt and sufficiency of <br />which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, have this day <br />GRANTED, BARGAINED, SOLD AND CONVEYED and by these presents do <br />GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE, <br />TEXAS, a municipality, and to its successors and assigns the <br />perpetual right, privilege and easement, with appropriate rights <br />of ingress and egress and reasonable working area for construc- <br />tion and maintenance, to enter upon and construct, reconstruct, <br />maintain, operate, inspect, replace, repair and remove an eight <br />(8) inch water main together with all necessary improvements <br />over and across certain lands and premises owned by the said <br />Grantor, and located in the Enoch Brinson Survey, in Harris <br />County, Texas, the property being burdened with said easement <br />being described in a deed recorded in Volume 8081, Page 461 <br />of the Harris County Deed Records, and further described below. <br /> <br />COMMENCING at the Northeast corner of Outlot 240, which <br />is coincident with the intersection of the South right- <br />of-way line of North "H" Street and the West right-of~ <br />way line of 26th Street. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Southerly direction; coincident with the <br />West right-of-way line of 26th Street (Sens Road); a dis- <br />tance of 380 feet (more or less) to a point for corner <br />that is coincident with the Northeast corner of the afore- <br />mentioned 0.8141 acre tract. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Westerly direction; coincident with the <br />North boundary line of the 0.8141 acre tract of land and <br />coincident with the South boundary line of that certain <br />tract of land conveyed by Melvin S. Cohn, Trustee to <br />Donald F. Ford on July 15, 1976, according to the deed <br />recorded under Harris County Clerk's Film Code No. <br />148-11-2507; a distance of 10.00 feet to a point for the <br />Northeast corner of this easement and the POINT OF BEGIN- <br />NING. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Southerly direction; parallel with the West <br />right-of-way line of 26th Street; a distance of 50 feet <br />to a point for the Southeast corner of this easement. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Westerly direction; coincident with the South <br />boundary line of Outlot 240 and the South boundary line <br />of the aforesaid 0.8141 acre tract; a distance of 10.00 <br />feet to.a point for the Southwest corner of this easement. <br /> <br />THENCE, in a Northerly direction; parallel with the West <br />right-of-way line of 26th Street; a distance of 50 feet to <br />a point for the Northwest corner of this easement. <br /> <br />THENCE, in an Easterly direction; coincident with the South <br />boundary line of the aforesaid tract of land conveyed to <br />Donald F. Ford, Trustee and coincident with the North <br />boundary line of the aforesaid 0.8141 acre tract of land; <br />a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />
