<br />CONSTRUCTION REQUIllEHENTS FOR PIPELINES CROSSING

<br />HOUSTON LIGHTING & POWER. COMPANY'S PIPELINE
<br />
<br />As a prerequisite to obtaining a pipeline easement and/or permission to
<br />install a pipeline across Houston Lighting & Power Company's Pipeline, Grantee,
<br />its successors and assigns, shall agree to, shall be responsible for, and shall
<br />require that its contractor and/or subcontractor abide by the following

<br />eighteen (18) inches must be ~intained between pipes.
<br />
<br />3. Grantee, its successors and assigns, is not to probe or excavate
<br />for the location of Houston Lighting & Power Company's pipeline.
<br />Upon request. Houston Lighting & Power Company will furnish a survey
<br />crew to stake the exact location and depth of its pipeline.
<br />
<br />4. Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall agree to assume all
<br />liability for any damage to Houston Lighting & Power Company's
<br />pipeline, including but not limited to its insulation and cathodic
<br />protection, when such damage is caused by, or in any way connected
<br />with the pipeline installation.
<br />
<br />5. Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall agree that it will not
<br />connect drainage bonds between its pipeline and Houston Lighting &
<br />Power Company's pipeline.
<br />
<br />6. Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall agree that said
<br />_p!p_el"n~ crossing will no.t. b& backfilled until Houston Lighting &
<br />'~Power Company's inspector has approved the crossing installation.
<br />
<br />7. Grantee, its successors and assigns, shall agree that when
<br />Houston Lighting & Power Company's pipeline is exposed it will be
<br />supported every fifteen (15) feet such that Houston Lighting & Power
<br />Company's pipeline is not allowed to move vertically or horizontally
<br />from its present position.
