Chairman DANNY EARP JAY MARTIN Member Vice-Chairman CHUCK ENGELKEN Alternate Member Member MINUTES OF DRAINAGE AND FLOODING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD JUNE 11,2018 The Drainage and Flooding Committeeof the City of La Portemet on Monday,June 11, 2018,at the City Hall Council Chambers, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, at 5:00p.m. to consider the followingitems of business: 1.Call to Order Vice-Chairman Jay Martincalled the meeting to order at 5:00p.m. The following members of the Drainage and Flooding Committee were present: Committee Members Chuck Engelkenand Danny Earp. Staff Present: Corby Alexander,Don Pennell, Lorenzo Wingate and Patrice Fogarty. 2.Authorizations (a)Consider approval or other action regarding minutes of the Drainage and Flooding Committee Meeting held on June 29, 2015–S. Harris CommitteeMember Engelkenmoved to approve the minutes of the Drainage and Flooding Committee Meeting held on June 29, 2015,as presented. Committee Member Earpseconded. MOTION PASSED3/0. (b)Consider approval or other action appointing a Chairman and/or Vice-Chairman of the Drainage and Flooding Committee –S. Harris Committee Member Engelken moved to nominate Jay Martin as Chairmanand Danny Earp as Vice-Chairman ofthe Drainage and Flooding Committee. Committee Member Earpseconded. MOTION PASSED3/0. 3.Staff Reports (a)S. Shady Ln., Outfall Rehabilitation –L. Wingate/D. Pennell City EngineerLorenzo Wingate provided an update on S. Shady Ln., Outfall Rehabilitation. There were no questions from the Committee. (b)Bayside Terrace Drainage Improvements –L. Wingate/D. Pennell City Engineer Lorenzo Wingate provided an update on Bayside Terrace Drainage Improvements. There were no questions from the Committee. (c)Pine Bluff Subdivision Improvements –L. Wingate/D. Pennell City EngineerLorenzo Wingate provided an update on Pine Bluff Subdivision Improvements.
