Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the Harris County Flood <br />related to flooding in the City of La Porte. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of <br />Public Works\] <br /> <br />Mr. Wingate said an interlocal agreement was still being negotiated for Brookglen and F- <br />216. Johnathan St. Romain, of the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD), noted <br />their traffic study indicated closing Gladwyne Lane. Member Engelken spoke against <br />doing so, citing concerns including flawed traffic study methodology and first responder <br />access. <br /> <br />e. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the status of current <br />drainage projects. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] <br /> <br />Mr. Wingate said the Bayside Terrace project would require communication with property <br />owners concerning the established trees. Mr. Alexander said there was a tree fund that <br /> Mr. Wingate said he would be <br />speaking to the HOA on Tuesday, November 9. <br /> <br />f. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the status of traffic impact <br />analysis associated with proposed detention pond development in Brookglen <br />Subdivision. \[Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] <br /> <br />This item was covered in discussion on item d. <br /> <br />g. Presentation, discussion, and possible action to provide administrative staff of the <br />City with direction, if necessary, regarding additional drainage concerns. \[Lorenzo <br />Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works\] <br /> <br />Member Williams asked about the sanitary sewer lift stations and how they are impacted <br />during rain events; Mr. Mayo communicated that the Lomax Lift Station Consolidation <br />Project should improve the issue and would be out for bid soon, pending Texas Water <br />Development Board approval of the bid/construction documents. <br /> <br />4. Set next meeting - The next meeting date was set for December 13, 2021. <br /> <br />5.
