Absent: Councilmembers Earp, K. Martin and <br />J. Martin. Also present were City Secretary Patrice Fogarty, City Manager Corby Alexander, and <br />Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins. <br /> <br />2. INVOCATION The invocation was given by Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins. <br /> <br />3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Dottie Kaminski. <br />4. PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS, and RECOGNITIONS <br />th <br />(a) Recognition Float Entry Winners for the 4 of July Parade Mayor Rigby <br />th <br />Mayor Rigby recognized Float Entry Winners from the 4 of July Parade. George Watkins thanked the <br />Rotary Club, as well as those who created the floats. <br /> <br />stth <br />1 Place La Porte Families of July Boat- <br />nd <br />2 Place Ken Pridgeon and Cliff Willson <br />rd <br />3 Place First Assembly of God/White Team <br /> <br />Most Original Float went to the First Assembly of God/Red Team <br />(b) Recognition Retirement of K-9 Lodka, City of La Porte Police Department Mayor Rigby <br />Mayor Rigby recognized the retirement of K-9 Lodka from the City of La Porte Police Department, <br />her accomplishments over the years were recognized, as well. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENTS (Limited to five minutes per person.) <br /> <br />, 1713 N.
