On July 91h, the Alliance made their annual public presentation to the City Council. On July 231d, the La Porte Economic Development Board discussed and approved the thirty-six (36) month economic development services agreement. Since the funds are budgeted in the Economic Development budget, staff has asked the Alliance to revise their agreement to include both the approvals by the Economic Development board and City Council. Action Required by Council: Consider approval or other action authorizing the City of La Porte Mayor to sign a thirty-six (36) month economic development services agreement with the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2021.
