Motion <br />carried. <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAFFIC AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS <br />ON 3RD STREET IN THE C/TY LIMITS OF LA PORTS, TEXAS; <br />FIXING A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF ~` 200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. <br />* * ~ <br />11. Motion was made by Commissioner Baker, secondedORDINANCE NO. 676 <br />by Commissioner Shepherd, that Ordinance No. 676, captioned (First & Final Rdg.) <br />as foCiows, be passed on first and final reading. Motion <br />carried. <br />AN ORDINANCE ALTERING THE PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS ESTABLISHED <br />FOR VEHICLES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 8 OF ARTICLE 827s, <br />VERNON'S TEXAS PENAL CODE, UPON THE BASIS OF AN ENGINEERING <br />AND TRAFFIC INVESTIGATION, UPON CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS, <br />OR PARTS THEREOF, WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF <br />LA PORTS, AS SET OUT IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING A PENALTY <br />OF A FINE NOT TO EXCEED TWn HUNDRED DOLLARS (,g` 200.00) FOR THE <br />VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND/OR <br />PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. <br />12.
