<br />3. Mr. Ross Walker appeared before the Commission on ORDINANCE N0. 686 -
<br />behalf of the United Gas Corporation, requesting Franchise FRANCHISE FOR UNITED
<br />to do business in the City of La Porte. GAS C0~2FORATION.
<br />After due consideration, Commissioner Baker
<br />made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Osburn, that Ordinance
<br />No. 686, granting Franchise to the Untted Gas Corporation, be
<br />passed on first reading. Motion carried.

<br />week for four (4) consecutive weeks in the La Porte-Bayshore
<br />Sun, official newspaper of the City of La Porte. Ordinance
<br />not to be passed on second and final reading until thirty (30)
