128. <br />9. Motion made by Commissioner Baker, seconded 2ND PAYMENT TO <br />by Commissioner Stabs, that the Invoice from the Texas STATE DEPT. FOR <br />State Department of Health in the amount of two thousand COMP. PLAN AUTHORIZEG <br />five hundred eighty-five dollars, (~ 2,585.00), for the (~ 2,585.00) <br />second payment on the Comprehensive Master Plan studies <br />be approved and paid. Motion carried. <br />* ~ <br />10. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded <br />by Commissioner Shepherd, that the City Clerk be authorized <br />to place order for a Fire Truck and equipment, in accordance <br />with the cooperative agreement among the Cities of Shoreacres, <br />Lomax and Morgan 's Point. The necessary funds of sixteen <br />thousand eight hundred dollars, (~ 16,800.00), have been <br />deposited to an escrow account in the La Porte State Bank <br />by their cities. Motion carried. <br />+ « <br />11. Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded <br />by Commissioner Baker, that the City Engineer be authorized <br />to purchase a mobile power plant to replace the one worn out <br />and discarded. Motion carried. <br /> <br />12. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded <br />by Commissioner Baker, that Dewey R. Walls, 423 South First <br />Street, La Porte, be issued an auxiiliary policeman's <br />commission. Motion carried. <br />* * ~ <br />13. Motion was made by Commissioner Baker, seconded <br />by Commissioner Osburn, that the City Engineer proceed with the <br />•• work necessary to clear up the drainage problem at Madison <br />on North Third Street.
