Commissioner Baker made a motion, seconded by <br />Commtssioner Shepherd, that the City be authorized to rent <br />a tractor from the Mustang Tractor Company, for two (2) <br />months, at the rate of seven hundred Dollars (~ 700.00) <br />per month, with the proviso that ninety per cent (90~) of <br />the rental cost would apply to the purchase price of the <br />tractor, leaving a balance of seven thousand three hundred <br />forty dollars (~ 7,340.0) as the purchase price of the <br />tractor and trailer. Commissioner Baker made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Shepherd, and carried, that Mrs. Ruth Norris, <br />City Hall Janitoress, be authorized paid vacations in line <br />with City Policies on vacations, and commensurate with her <br />hours and pay. <br />9. Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded <br />by Commissioner Baker, that the present contract with Ernest <br />L. Brown, Jr., dated February 6, 1959 to serve as the City's <br />Fiscal Agent, be extended for an additional five (5) year <br />period, under the same terms and conditions. Motion carried. <br />~ ~ <br />10. Bid recetved on the Purchase of a new Police <br />Car were considered. Bids were as follows: <br />Clunn Motor Company ~ 2,395.00 -Without Trade <br />Jay Marks Chevrolet 1,875.21 _ W/Trade X360.00 <br />Joe Camp Motors 1,994.00 - W/Trade $360.00 <br />Art Grtndle Plymouth 3,037.95 -Without Trade <br />Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Baker, that the low bid of Jay Marks Chevrolet <br />be accepted, and that the purchase be approved. Motion carried. <br />* « <br />11. Results of the Public Hearing held on April 22, <br />1964, in regard to a request from Mr. S. D. Pilkinton to re-zone <br />Lots 13, 14, 15 and 16, Block 29, Town of La Porte, was con- <br />sidered.
