Motion was made by Commissioner Baker, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, that a Tax Suit filed against Eddie Cade be dismissed, as all taxes due had been patd prior to the Tax Assessor-Collector's knowledge of the suit, and that • the City absorb all cost for filing and dismissing of suit. Motion carried. 15. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Baker, that the statement submitted by Mr. C. L. Pitman for services rendered for the month of April, 1964, in the amount of four hundred nineteen dollars and stxty-five cents, (.~ 419.65) be approved for payment. Motion carried. 16. Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Baker, that the Public Works Department be authorized to hire a person temporarily for the Public Works Service Center during the absence of M.
