Commissioner Stabs stated that there is X700 in the <br />budget for air condtttontng the Fire Station, and that <br />the Volunteer Fire Department has offered to lend the <br />City the balance necessary to complete this installation. <br />Commissioner Baker made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Stabs that bids be presented at the next meeting. A motion was made by Commissioner Osborn, seconded by <br />Commissioner Stabs, that Al Braun Company be given a <br />year's maintenance contract for servicing the air <br />conditioner at the City Hall. Clarke, 809 South 3rd, <br />La Porte be given an Auxiliary Police Commission. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />16. A motion was made by Corrmisstoner Baker, seconded by <br />Commissioner Osborn, that two temporary men be hired <br />by the Public Works Department during the mowing <br />season, and that one permanent man be hired for the <br />Street Department.
