Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />13. The City Engineer presented bids from Utility Supply <br />Company and Mabry Foundry for a six month's supply of <br />materials fro the Water Department. Commissioner Osburn <br />made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Compton that a <br />six months contract be issued to Utility Supply Company. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />94. A motion was made by Commissioner Compton, seconded <br />by Commissioner Shepherd and carried thaf Lloyd Donahoe, <br />629 Sovfh 3rd, be paid $14.00 for damages to his home <br />caused by an object Thrown from a City vehicle. Motion <br />carried. <br />+ + + <br />15. Commissioner Shepherd made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Compton that the ordinance regulattng <br />the Obstruction of alleys be enforced. The Commission authorized the City Engineer to preceed <br />with the study of the Container System for garbage <br />pickup in the Commercial District. <br />+ + + <br />17. Commissioner Shepherd stated that Ai Wadworth had <br />expressed a desire to share in the cost of a sign <br />reading "La Porte Municipal Atrport", to be placed <br />on top of the hanger. Commissioner Shepherd was <br />authortzed to get an approximate cost. <br />+ + + <br />18. A mofton was made by Commissioner Osburn, seconded <br />by Commissioner Shepherd that Harold Hunt and Guree <br />Hawkins be authorized to attend Sewer Short School <br />for 2~i days.
