• • <br />3. C. W. Suesse, C.P.A., submitted the 9964-65 audit <br />report. After a discussion the Commission accepted <br />the report, reserving the right to call Mr. Suesse <br />back to answer any questions they might have. <br />+ + + <br />4. The 60 day time extension given Krebs Construction <br />Company, to apply for (heir building permit for <br />the construction of the apartment units on the <br />Minchen property has exptred. Commissioner Stabs <br />made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Compton <br />that fhe application for rezoning of the property <br />be rejected. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />5. Mr. H. C. -'vauson appeared before the Commission <br />to receive an answer to his request for rezoning <br />of Outlots 72, 73, 74, 75, 83, 84, 85, 87, 88, <br />and 89, La Porte. The Commission advised Mr. <br />Wauson that the rezoning would be approved at <br />the time he applied for a building permit. <br />+ + + <br />6. The Commission heard a complaint from Mr. Bryan <br />Moore, Mr. Moore asked why a local contractor <br />is required to pay for trash that is taken fo the <br />Ctty Dump. Mr. Moore was requested to work with <br />the City as best he can and in the meantime the <br />City Engtneer and City Clerk will make a study to <br />determine if the revenue from these charges is ample <br />to off set the work necessary. <br />+ + + <br />7. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Parsons appeared before the <br />Commission to ask why the cost of extending a waterline <br />can not be assessed against each property owner. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Parsons were advised that because of the <br />legal work involved, the Cify can see no way to pro- <br />rate such cost at this time. <br />+ + + <br />8. C. D. Boyle, presented a contract for the sale of <br />Lots 9 to 4, Block 977, Town of La Porte, from <br />B. L. Fry to the City of La Porte. The Total <br />safe price being ,2,500. cash or $500. down and <br />the balance in four equal payments of ,x`500. each <br />at 6~ interest. The City Attorney advised the Commis- <br />sion to seek an interest rate of 43z%. <br />+ + + <br />
