r <br />• • <br />~~ 2. A motion was made by Commissioner Osburn, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, that the Cify assume the cost of relocating the water <br />line at Bayshore Motel. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />3. The Cify Clerk was instructed to write letters to the businesses <br />that have not taken out their Food and Health Permits. <br />The City Attorney was requested to brief the necessity of Churches <br />and other organizations being required~to have Health permits. <br />+ + + <br />4. The City Clerk was requested to write fhe Flood Control District <br />and invite a representative to meet with the Commission. <br />+ + + <br />5. A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs and seconded by Commissioner <br />Compton that the Mayor be authorized to sign the F.A.A. grant <br />application for the Airport. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />6. The Cify Engineer stated that the two low bids for the Airport <br />Project were as follows: <br />Moon Construction Company 106,265.00 <br />Walter A, Smith Paving contractors, lnc. 108,942.00 <br />He recommended that because of the satisfactory work that Walter <br />A, Smith has done for the City in the past, they be given the <br />contract. <br />Commissioner Osburn made a motton, seconded by Commissioner <br />shepherd that the contract be given to Walter A, Smith Paving <br />Contractors, /nc.,,~108,942.00 Motton carried. <br />+ + + <br />7. A motion was made by Commissioner Shepherd and seconded by <br />Commissioner Osburn and carried that the following accounts payable <br />be approved: <br />Machine Records, /nc. X164.00 <br />J. E. Brumett 275.00 <br />Mabry Foundry 112.98 <br />' Builders Supply Company 217.00 <br />Builders Supply Company 226.50 <br />+ + + <br /> <br /> <br />
