Mayor Smith read a letter from Chemsoil <br />Engineers regarding their request for a <br />landfill operation in Tract 17 of the <br />Nebraska Syndicate. (See exhibt 1) <br />Mr. Baize representing Chemsoil Engineers <br />spoke in their behalf. <br />A length discussion was held in which <br />members of the Commission pointed out that <br />Chemsoil Engineers had not obtained a permit <br />from the City or the Texas Water Quality <br />Board to operate the landfill. <br />Motion by Commissioner Crofoot, seconded by <br />Commissioner Burgin to table action for further <br />study. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Thomas, Kibodeaux, Burgin <br />and Crofoot. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />5.
