~ ~ <br />Regular Meeting ~/3/~2 - continued <br />• <br />Christensen to amend the motion by correcting <br />the minutes of the special meeting to read <br />that O'Meara-Rush gave the City of La Porte <br />a fifteen (15) foot easement from the lift <br />station along the north property line to <br />the east property line of the O'Meara- Rush <br />project. The amendment to the motion carried <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />The motion as amended carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />2. Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. <br />• Christensen to approve the accounts payable. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Sampson and 3oyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the rezoning of <br />lots 17 through 32, block 164, Town of <br />La Porte, from Residential to Commercial. <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Mayor Thomas <br />who read the request from N 77 Ltd., (signed <br />by Mrs. Zula Stanford, Mr. R. R. Zirkelbach, <br />and Mr. H. H. McDonald) requesting the re- <br />zoning and stating the intent is to use the <br />property for the orderly expansion of Bay Area <br />Plaza. <br />It was ascertained that notices to alI property <br />owners within 200 feet of the property under <br />consideration for rezoning were mailed on June 21, <br />19'72 and that a Public Notice of this hearing <br />• <br />ar <br />
