Boyle, seconded by Comm. <br />Christensen to approve the minutes of the <br />regular meeting of August 6, 1973 as presented. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Price and <br />Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Kibodeaux. <br />+ + + <br />3. Motion by Comm. Christensen, seconded by Comm. <br />Price to approve the accounts payable as <br />• presented, a copy of which is attached to <br />and made a part of these minutes. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Price and <br />Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Kibodeaux. <br />+ + + <br />4. Mr. J. R. Spradling, 3302 Valley Brook Drive, <br />addressed the Commission in regards to police <br />protection.He stated there were a number of <br />little things that needed attention, such as <br />enforcing city ordinances on abandoned cars, <br />dogs, fireworks vandalism and stop signs. <br />Mr. Spradling stated he thought all complaints <br />should be checked and if the police can't come <br />when called, they should come later.
