`D • • <br />Regular Meeting - 7/1/74/ - Continued <br /> <br />The Texas Water Quality Board ruled in favor of <br />Shoreacres and Bay MUD going with Gulf Coast Waste <br />Authority rather than La Porte's proposal. Mayor <br />Thomas stated that although we did not get what the <br />City had set out for, we could possibly get other <br />funds at a later time. However, he felt both meetings <br />were fruitful. <br />(E) Mayor Thomas read a letter of resignation from <br />Mr. Robert Cline, Director of Public Works to be <br />effective on or before July 15, 1974. <br />14. RECESS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION - Motion by Commissioner <br />Price, seconded by Commissioner Kibodeaux, that the <br />meeting be recessed under Section 2 (e) of Article <br />6252-17-VATS (Personnel Matters). Motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />• The meeting recessed at 8:25 P.M. <br />The meeting reconvened at 9:27 P.M. <br />15. LETTER OF RESIGNATION - MR. ROBERT CLINE - It was <br />the consensus of opinion of the Commission to accept <br />the letter of resignation of Mr. Robert Cline. <br />Motion by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner <br />Kibodeaux to accept the letter of resignation from <br />Mr. Robert Cline to be effective July 15, 1974. <br />Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br /> <br />
