<br />• Regular Meeting - 8/19/74 - Continued <br />6. VISITORS WISHING TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION - <br />Mayor Thomas asked if the agenda had been posted <br />according to law. The City Clerk affirmed. <br />(A) Mr. Robert C. Whitlock, 10110 Catlett Lane, <br />was recognized and addressed the Commission in regard <br />to an excessively high water bill. After a brief <br />discussion, it was determined that the Commission <br />would take the complaint under advisement. <br />3 <br />(B) Mrs. Adale Sullivan, 1520 Roscoe, was recognized <br />and addressed the Commission in regard to a water- <br />sewer tap that she had paid for to move a house to <br />856 South Nugent. Mrs. Sullivan stated that she owned <br />Lots 31, 32, 33, and 34, Block 20, Bay Front Addition. <br />The house was moved to Lots 33 and 34. After a lengthy <br />discussion regarding the location of the tap, it was <br />determined the tap was made on Roscoe and Mrs. Sullivan <br />paid for a 50 foot front foot fee. <br />• <br />+ + + <br />7. ORDINANCE NO. 780-T REZONING LOTS 1 THROUGH 16, BLOCK <br />1146, TOWN OF LA PORTE - Mr. Askins read the ordinance <br />in full. Motion by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by <br />Commissioner Price to adopt Ordinance No. 780-T as <br />read. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780, THE <br />CITY OF LA PORTE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE <br />CLASSIFICATION OF THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND HEREIN <br />DESCRIBED; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />+ + + <br />• <br />
