CONSIDER ORDINANCE N0. 1007 - AN ORDINANCE ORDERING <br />PORTION OF STREET IN CRESCENT SHORES BETWEEN BLOCK 1 <br />AND BLOCK 2 NEVER TO BE OPENED - After the ordinance <br />was read in full, motion by Commissioner Christensen, <br />seconded by Commissioner Price to adopt Ordinance No. <br />1007 as read. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE. POLICY OF THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE CONCERNING A PORTION OF CRESCENT DRIVE, IN <br />CRESCENT SHORES SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF LA PORTE; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />+ + + <br /> <br />13. APPROVE PAYMENT TO UNDERGROUND EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF 4,674.36 FOR A TRENCHINr MA~HTNF. <br />WITH TRAILER - Motion by Commissioner Christensen, <br />seconded by Commissioner Price to approve payment to <br />Underground Equipment in the amount of $4,674.36 for <br />a Trenching Machine with Trailer. Motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Christensen, Kibodeaux, <br />Price, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />14. DISCUSS ENGINEERING CONTRACTS - SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br />RAILROAD ON OVERPASS AT SPENCER HIGHWAY - Mayor Thomas <br />stated that the Engineering Contracts from Turner, <br />Collie & Braden had been received. Copies had been <br />sent to the City Attorney and Engineer for their <br />approval and Southern Pacific Transportation Company <br />for their approval. A copy of Turner, Collie & Braden's <br />letter and a copy of Southern Pacific Transportation Co., <br />letter, requesting corrections to the contracts are <br />attached and made a part of these minutes. <br />• <br />
