RATIFY AUTHORIZING ARCHITECT TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECI- <br />FICATIONS FOR LIBRARY EXPANSION - Motion by Commissioner <br />Cline, seconded by Commissioner Boyle to ratify authorizing <br />the Architect to prepare plans and specifications for the <br />Library expansion. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />+ + + <br />10. CONSIDER DATE OF JULY 7, 1975, AT 7:00 P.M., FOR PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR REVENUE SHARING FUNDS - Motion by Commissioner <br />Love, seconded by Commissioner Cline to set the date of <br />July 7, 1975, at 7:00 P.M., for a public hearing for <br />Revenue Sharing Funds. Motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />• <br />+ + + <br />11. AUTHORIZE MAYOR TO SIGN FEDERAL GRANT APPLICATION FOR <br />DEVELOPMENT OF FAIRMONT PARK FACILITIES - Motion by <br />Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner Cline to <br />authorize the Mayor to sign federal grant application for <br />development of Fairmont Park Facilities, but qualified <br />that she would vote against the motion because she was of <br />the opinion that the City did not have $137,000.00 to spend <br />on ball parks at this time. <br />Motion failed by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioner Love and Mayor Pro-Tem Kibodeaux. <br />NAYS: Commissioners Cline and Boyle. <br />+ + + <br />12. CONSIDER RESOLUTION N0. 75-3 APPOINTING THE MAYOR AS <br />RESPONSIBLE OFFICER; THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AS FISCAL <br />• OFFICER AND DEDICATING CERTAIN LAND FOR OUTDOOR RECREATION <br />PURPOSES - This item was automatically tabled. <br />
