CONSIDER APPROVING ORDINANCE NO. 780 -DD (Continued) <br />CAPTION: AN ORDINANCE MENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780, THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY CHANGING THE <br />CLASSIFICATION OF THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND <br />HEREIN DESCRIBED; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE HEREOF. <br />19. CONSIDER AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF MOBILE RADIO FOR FIRE <br />MARSHAL - Motion by Commissioner Boyle, seconded by <br />Commissioner Cline to authorize the purchase of a mobile <br />radio to Motorola for one "MOCOM 70" mobile unit in the <br />amount of $1,550.00. Motion carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />20. CONSIDER APPROVING CONTRACT WITH COUNTY FOR FIRE PROTECTION - <br />After a brief discussion, motion by Commissioner Boyle, <br />seconded by Commissioner Cline to approve the contract with <br />Harris County for rural fire protection. A copy of the <br />contract is attached and made a part of these minutes. Motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Love, Cline, and Boyle. <br />NAYS: None. <br />21. DISCUSS ENGINEERING COST ESTIMATE REGARDING SANITARY SEWER <br />LINE - AIR NATIONAL GUARD - After a brief discussion, motion <br />by Commissioner Cline, seconded by Commissioner Boyle to <br />table the sanitary sewer line for the Air National Guard for <br />further study.
